Apps available for HCM

Hi Experts,

S/4 Hana cloud for professional services

Q1) Apart from Manage Business partner master data and custom fields config, what are the apps available for HR / HCM .

Q2) Is there a place where we can differentiate an employee and a business partner in S/4HC or BP is considered as employee

Kindly confirm this understanding - When an employee is created, a BP is created simultaneously with the BUP003 role. For all purposes in S/4HANA, we need a BP created for an Employee else the Employee cannot be assigned/used anywhere.In the Identification tab on the BP created, the employee ID will be linked as HCM ID. 

Q) Also Import employees is the only way to create an Employee in the system, However the fields in API's are referring to Business partner  but not employee fact sheet and also View is also completely different

Q3)  In which app we can see the organization data configured in manage your solution ( Manage you solution-->Manage your configuration-->Organization we create PA & PSA similar to Company code )

Q4) As there is no place to create Business Job and Position - can service cost level import can be used or ?

Q5) Where do we map employee groupings both employee group and sub group in S4C?

Q6) Purpose of Infotype Data Change documents .

Q7) Please mention / share  Exhaustive Employee master related Applications in S4C- Also refer a Mobile number to connect personally

Hi Vangala, there're several questions. It's better to raise one post per question, but I'll try to answer all of them:

Q1) Apart from Manage Business partner master data and custom fields config, what are the apps available for HR / HCM .

That's it, in S/4HCloud, the role BUP003 in the BP must be created for all the employees, as all the CDS and workflows consume the information of the BP.

No, the Import Employee is not the only way to create employees in the system. In this KBA: 2646803 - How to maintain employees data in an S/4HANA Cloud , you'll see all the methods to create Employees.

I don't understand totally the question... there's a mapping between the fields filled in the Import Employee or API to the BP. Which is your specific question?

Could you please ellaborate further the question? All the OM data can be checked via Manage Your Solution.

Q4) As there is no place to create Business Job and Position - can service cost level import can be used or ?

Using Import Employee you can fill the Service Cost Level data ( https://help.sap.com/viewer/0bebd08dffca45afa67b1f751199afd0/latest/en-US/d0ddf4579e001170e10000000a... ), Service Cost Level is not mapped to any field in EC, which means that local editing is always required using Employee factsheet or a CSV upload is required in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.

Q5) Where do we map employee groupings both employee group and sub group in S4C?

Hi Javier - Thanks for the response and appreciate your time. However

All the OM Objects configured, how can they be utilized in the application, For instance as i maintained PA & PSA and Mapped it to COmpany code but cannot be viewed at UI Level

These are there but Employee groupings EG & ESG , Also PA and PSA in any HR app at UI level, or How can they be used if configured in Manage your solution

Q) Also Explored on Custom fields and logics, S/4 Hana is provisioned in such a way that custom fields can be mapped via Business partner core view and can be mapped in Manage Business partner but not in Employee Fact Sheet view via Adapt UI? Can we create custom fields in Employee view

Also do we have any field mapping from oracle to Intap to SAP s/4 hana to concur system ?
