ADU Value is zero in Schedule Buffer Proposal Calculation DDMRP SAP S /4 HANA 1809

Hi Experts / Leads,

We are Executing DDMRP Cycle for Raw Material's on S / 4 HANA 1809. But after Scheduling "Schedule Buffer Proposal Calculation" we are getting Warning Message as "ADU for the Product 000000000000000751 Plant XXXX MRP AREA XXXX is Zero. Even though we have Goods Issue in the Past 120 Days.

Question 1. Why we are getting ADU value is Zero warning message even though we have Goods Issue Posted in past 120 Days?

2. Why Average Daily Usage is grayed Out in " Schedule Buffer Proposal Calculation"?

Below is the screen shot of Warning Message & Process Parameters for DDMRP.

1. Master Data Set up

2. Goods Issue in Past 120 Days

Execution -

3. Parameters for Schedule Product Classification

4. Process Parameters for "Schedule Lead time classification of Products".

5. Schedule Buffer Proposal (Average Daily Usage (ADU) grayed Out highlighted below

6. Warning Message in "Schedule Buffer Proposal Calculation".

Thanks,

Sagar

Hello

Go to the Mass Maintenance of Products app, select your material and click the button CHANGE. Here, make sure you have defined a value for this material.

Hi Sagar

Average daily usage (ADU) is somewhat trickier. We need first to configure how it should be calculated (for example, average of 4 weeks in the past and 2 weeks in the future). Past consumption could be calculated in a number of different ways, depending on how the system is configured: we could use the Logistics Information System, the consumption history (MVER) or even checking directly the material movements. For the future we’d have to look at existing requirements (both independent and dependent demand). ADU should be refreshed frequently, probably through a daily job, and it is import for analytics purposes to keep a history of each part’s ADU per day.

Try to change values which you have given in product classification and try it's requires trial and error in single go it can't happen😉
