Add account assignment category as 'WBS' in settlement rule by default ?

Hi All,

I have a requirement :

  • while creating Production order CO01 settlement rule, 'WBS' should be assigned automatically as default account assignment category with 100% settlement
  • and the default 'MAT' category's % as 0 (as it gives error while deleting it).

Since, it is not possible to do this using configuration, any user exits or BAdI available for this ?

I need BAdI to intervene during creation of production order (CO01) and change the distribution rule to settlement receiver project “WBS”.

Frequent collective (mass) settlements will be executed for production orders. The costs need to be rolled-up to projects (WBS Elements). Therefore the settlement receiver in the distribution rule for production orders need to be changed to “WBS”.

Should look like as below :

Hello apurvaj

If in your case, the settlement will always be to a WBS, than check your settlement profile used. You can in the settlement profile assign the default category as "WBS" in place of "MAT". You can also maintain the strategy for automatic creation of the settlement rule based on the assignment of strategy to the order type. This strategy control defines, at what point the settlement rule should be created automatically depending on the status of the order Eg, it is in RELEASED or CREATED status. Please check with your CO Colleague on the same.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi sanil.bhandari

Default category is already maintained as 'WBS' and 'MAT'. If we don't assign MAT as default it gives error.

I want account assignment category as 'WBS' automatically (as show above in question, but that is added manually)..

Debugging workorder_update BAdI for now.. but what happens here is AUFK table is updated after the BAdI is processed, so cant add logic here for adding distribution rule here..

Hello apurvaj

Could you share the screen shot or error message that you encounter when you try to change the configuration for the settlement rule? It always helps if you provide as much details as possible since none of us would have access to your systems to be able to login and check.

Thanks & regards
