Activating workflow for general journal entry verification

Hello, 

We are using the API Journal Entry Post (Synchronous) but we need to verify the journal entry before posting. Is it possible to use the workflow for general journal entry verification when the entry have been posted from the API? How could we achieve it?

Hello Mario,

Unfortunately, currently the scenario you are referring to is not possible. The API is essentially requesting to post directly a JE document. Whereas the workflow uses an intermediary technical 'request' document when a JE is submitted for verification which then triggers the workflow.

This point has been raised on the customer influence portal and already has received more than 5 votes (the threshold). This implies that our development team have recognized this and we look forward to providing further functionality.
