ABAP Runtime Error MESSAGE_TYPE_X

While Doing Production punching in MFBF.We are getting dump. but is only for some specific material.

Could you please let me know as to why this error is caused and how it can be rectified .

Always check the SAP notes first if you have some issues with the standard programs. If the issue is still not solved, contact the SAP support.

In the dump you can find the error message that triggers the dump, so now

• Read the message text (long text if available)
• Check for BAdI, Enhancement and the like that could trigger the problem
• Look for OSS notes with keywords MFBF BL 201 for your version.
• If no OSS notes and no enhancement, raise an incident (a case nowadays)

Hi Raymond,

i check the dump through debug i found that the cost element is missing in the log which results in the dump. But the cost element is maintained.

(Note: this dump occurs only for 2 specific materials . As i checked their is no issue in Material.)
