AATP BOP to be mad applicable only for Sales orders for whom MAD date has been past

Hello Experts,

We have a project requirement to run AATP-BOP or re-ATP for Sales orders for whom the MAD date has been set to past, since this is one of the business case where the Deliveries are not created for some Sales orders due to business reasons and their Material availability date(MAD) goes in past, the requirement here is to run ATP so that system will carry out Forward scheduling for these Sales orders.

We are currently using AATP - BOP functionality which will run ATP all the Sales Orders and not specific to the Orders for whom MAD date is in past. Can you advise how to set up the BOP segment so that only sales order lines which are having past MAD will be considered.

The reason we are not willing to use generic BOP(which considers all the SO's) here is due to the Sales orders getting confirmed from Allocation quota which might change the commit date(schedule line confirm date) in the line item, it should not change the commit date for the sales orders which are having MAD date in future.

Any suggestions will be helpful to set up BOP.

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Jayanth

Hello Jayanth

Please make sure "Material Staging/Availability Date" is added to Characteristic Catalog for Backorder Processing. Then use that as part of selection condition in BOP Segment. You could define the condition by using "before ... ago" with 1 day or "in the next ... to ..." with -365 days to 0 days something like that, they're multiple options available.

Hope this will help.

Thank you
