LAMA - Pre refresh ?

Hi Experts,

* Is it possible to perform the standard pre-refresh steps of Source system using LAMA ?

* Does it need the execution of STC01 tasklist in managed system?

* for using LAMA, are any add-on's to be installed on the managed system ?

Please clarify.
