CRMD_BUS2000115 shows me "Pricing error: Mandatory condition 0TTE is missing". Checked TTE_SIMULATION then and it shows me "Error during the RFC call : Get Tax Procedure Log". Next I tried "TTE_CUST_CHECK" and found the error "Define calling system identifier for (CRM100,)" CRM100 ist the CRM client, CRM System is 5.0, IPC is integrated. Did I forget to made any settings? Thanks

HI

We had the same problem & we solved it.

Actually the customizations should be carried out properly if u r calculating Tax through TTE.

The Tax classifications should exist for both Ship to & sold yo BP's.

The condition Type 0TTE should be present with Mandatory & Statistical ticked and should have 11000 ..copy the Pricng procedure 0CRM01.

The Decision Tree plays a main role in Tax determination. so copy a std decision tree and activate it.

The Tax conditions should be maintained properly in the menu path:

Cross-application components>Transaction Tax engine>Tax Maintenance settings>Exemptions & Tax Rates>Maintain Tax Rates & Exemptions.

If u do all these settings perfectly it will work.

Hi Jayesh

Its a SAP standard routine which is written in Java by SAP.

To activate the Transaction Tax Engine this is the set up which has to be done.

I think its not possible to read the code.

We didnt tried it. But i will let u know if i come across any details rgd that.

Nobody with an idea? Are there any other documents as on help.sap.com about TTE available? Which RFC call is mean? I thought IPC is a part of CRM 5.0 an no RFC needed.

Hi Franz,

Technically speaking, SAP IPC belongs to SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), but it can also be installed separately on its own database ("standalone").

Please check your IPC configuration. Take help from BASIS guys out there.

Hello Amit,

If you are saying that the TTE can be installed on a separate database, would this mean that you can use this engine also with for instance a back end SAP ECC system, similar to for instance how a SAP GTS works?

How will in that case the communication happen? Through RFC ?

And can the TTE being mapped with for instance the pricing module in SD in stead of using the IPC from CRM ?

What I am getting at is to see if its possible to use the TTE as a sort of bolt-on but then within the same SAP environment. In that case you could use this engine to derive taxes for complex processes , using the decision tree structure, which gives more possibilities then using the standard pricing technique. Especially for calculating the VAT for European based companies , this could be useful.

Same question if you would like to use the engine for inbound ( SRM/MM) processes.

Thanks for your feedback
