Saved Components not working in Smartedit

There was upgrade activity performed and transformation to API from mvc storefront, but smartedit had not been customised and same extensions carried over. We have exposed cms api for React FE to consume and construct the view for components. Everything is fine. Just Saved components is not working

The cmsitems/uuids call is happening on initial page load, but when clicking on saved components tab, we see blank results because no call is invoked from FE angular

We checked back at the upgrade and also performed the 2011 to 2105 custom steps mentioned and it still did not solve the issue.

There were js errors on page load, we thought that might block rest of the js from loading correctly hence it was not triggering. But even after handling them explicitly from ootb js and no more console js errors, still those additional calls for cmsitems/uuid were not happening. If you ever faced this issue anytime, please mention possible fix that you had done for this
