Is there a safe and clean way to delete/mark as FAILED/COMPLETE DataHub PublicationAction table entries that are in PENDING status (millions of)
Background:
Given some past issues we have had long running and stuck IN_PROGRESS Publication Actions that have resulted in large backlogs of PENDING PublicationAction table entries being added (so far 4.5 million) relating to a pool with fast moving data (ECC->SAP Commerce order updates; e.g. if the pool is stuck for just a single week, another 150000+ order updates from new / changed / rescheduled / re-credit checked orders would enter this pool).
When DataHub starts up it cycles through all these millions in batches of 1000 and takes circa five hours which is far too slow if a restart is needed during business hours (e.g. server restart/crash).
DataHub is not in drop mode as we must keep certain Canonical Items.
DataHub is on premise and we have access to the database.
