SAP C4C Add-In from Microsoft Outlook does not display Contacts

Hi Experts,

I have a strange problem after Add-In for Microsoft Outlook installation for one of my customer: the SAP toolbar does not display any information about the contact of the e-mail selected (no name, no e-mail... all is empty). The others functions Feeds, Shelf, ... works.

I point out the installation worked without problems, no error messages. We omitted the installation of the .NET Framework 4.6.1..

In the image belownow is empty is marked. This problem happened the first time, so we don't understand where the problem is.

Do you have any ideas?

Hi Giovanni,

You have to check if the Contact person (mobile) phone details have been maintained in SAP C4C correctly. The address field is filled based on the Account address information your contact person has a contact person relation ship with.

Hi Marie,

the contact does not exists in C4C, but this not the problem. The issue we have is that when we select an e-mail, in the toolbar does not appear anything, the screen is blank. In other installations after selection e-mail in the toolbar appears the name on the top and the e-mail contact; then you can decide if you want to share the contact with C4C.

This is a strange situation.

Hi Giovanni,

Do you mean with installations - different tenant or different end users in on 'landscape'. In case it is the later - colleagues that see different things when clicking on the same contact person email, i would suggest to let them do a reinstallation of the Add In or at least make sure that they are on a up to date release. If the issue persists - log an incident.

at the end I opened an incident to SAP for looking a solution.

When I'll found the reason of the error, I'll inform you via this post.
