Oracle 12c Settings

Hi everyone,

our database department is currently setting up our environment for our latest project. They've installed an Oracle 12c cluster with two nodes, which is load balanced by oracle itself. The load balancing is transparent for the hybris installation, we only connect to one ip address.

However they have some additional questions so I'm wodering if there is a similar wiki entry for setting up Oracle 12c as there is for 11g: https://wiki.hybris.com/display/release5/Oracle

I'd like to ask if someone could help me with the following questions:

• The Target SGA max SGA The SGA and PGA sizing for a database size of 15GB.

• Sizing tablespaces Data as an index. And if it should be separated or not.

• AMM or ASMM or manually

As my oracle knowledge is limited I would really appreciate your input on this.

• target memory settings: should be done by DBA as result of a DB sizing activity

• Tablespaces: no Hybris requirements, again should be a DBA decision.

• AMM vs manually: again should be a DBA decision - as far as I know Oracle recommends AMM for most cases.
