Logon language RUI C4C

Hello experts,

I wonder, which possibilities I have to define the UI language when logging in C4C via URL.

Background is, that we want to provide URLs to demo systems to interested leads. These URLs shall include all necessary logon information, means it should work without further inputs as username, password or the UI language.

For username and password it is already working -> https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3903114

But the parameter for the UI language does not reliably work. Sometimes still an other language is used and the URL parameter is changed by the system.

Thanks in advance and best regards,
Patric

Hi Patric,

I hope you are fine.

For the tenant in question, which other logon language was maintained for the system in Business Configuration, Addresses and Languages?

Best Regards,

Hello Khayan Padilha,

around 3/4 of the possibilities are configured in our demo system, which is of course not in productive use.

In this scenario it shall only be used English and German. Means, I want to create two hyperlinks - one for the English-ui and one for the German-UI.

Best regards and all the best wishes for 2018,
Patric

Hi Patric,

The logon language in not a parameter used from URL address.

The language is taken from browser settings.

So, as example, in case you prefer that the main language available in Logon screen be English you can go to:

Internet Options>Language>Set Language Preferences and set English (in this case for Internet Explorer).

Best Regards,
