How to reverse the goods in SAP CS

Dear Experts,

I have a customer service order to which I have issued materials using movement type 261 for the specific service order (created with IW31) for spares replacement at customer location. After replacing the spares user wants to bring the defective/damaged/which they removed from machine while replacing to warehouse.

Can anyone explain how to reverse the spares/goods from customer location to warehouse.

Use movement type MT 262 to reverse a 261.

However, replacement parts are usually handled via the Return and repair process.

Alternatively you can use the refurbishment process.
