What is the background process and how it exactly works? Does synchronization process use ModelService or maybe some other mechanism for that kind of operations?
How does it (that mechanism) copy data between two elements during synchronization (for example Products)?
I have already checked https://wiki.hybris.com/display/release5/Synchronization+Guide but i didn't find any solution.
"For how synchronization works, you may refer to the guide: https://wiki.hybris.com/display/release5/Synchronization+Guide#SynchronizationGuide-HowDoesSynchroni...

There's no proper information/solution about synchronization in this part of documentation. Documentation shows only in general how this mechanism works, not the whole flow, what kind of classes it use etc.

Besides, we also have some technical videos regarding synchronization in SAP Academy for your reference: https://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/esa_redirect/index.htm?gotocourse=X&courseid=70304736 https://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/esa_redirect/index.htm?gotocourse=X&courseid=70302113
