i find the chinese character in the file was transformed to unrecognizable code.
is there solution can solve the probelm?
Thanks.
Oliver.
Hi,
I got the solution :
Excel has some strange problems with non-ANSI characters in CSV files.
It is working in some cases, especially when the codepage is switched to UTF-16.
But this is not really reliable as you can see.
Normally the Export to Excel should produce XML files which are
displayed by Excel without problems. This is the preferrable way. For
this it is necessary to:
- have ActiveX enabled for "unsafe" controls (in the security options of the IE it is "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as
safe"). Microsoft Excel is here not "safe".
- use the IE at all (and not Firefox)
- use a XML enabled version of Microsoft Excel. This can be a Microsoft
Office 2003 Professional or an Microsoft Excel 2003 (Standalone)
Regards.
Oliver.
