Excel partial import for valid products

During excel import from backoffice in the current OOB v1808, only if all the records are valid the import operation will take place. If there is atleast one error in the excel import file, the import operation is aborted and the error message is displayed. Is there any provision for partial import of the valid records? If no how can we achieve this?

Excel validation is put into place so no bad data is imported. If you look at the excel, the attributes marked with asterisk are required and trying to import with errors for these attributes will result in not able to import the file. If there are any errors for attributes not marked with *, the import will be successful. For now, partial import for valid records doesn't exist with excel import. The import won't be allowed if required attributes contain bad data. You may try other methods such as impex import.
