Emarsys Newsletter Template Multi-Opt In

Hi Experts,

I am currently trying to configure the forms in Emarsys and in the data collection item you can find the opt-in settings or show opt-in request for newsletters. Here I would like to select an available newsletter as an example to show the function. I've gone through all the documentation so far, but I'm going round in circles on this topic because I can't create a newsletter form and the process starts like this. Is there a checkbox or setting I need to hit to enable this functionality? Many thanks and greetings Christopher Roschlaub

Hi christopher.roschlaub - I fear you have stumbled across some deprecated functionality here - we did used to have forms for individual newsletter subscriptions but we removed them a couple of years ago as part of updates to our consent and permissions management. You can now no longer create such forms, but they may appear referenced in certain places because we still support older customers still using them.

You can work around this by creating custom fields to store the opt-in for individual newsletters, or if you are also using the SAP Customer Data Cloud you can use that as a centralised consent management system.
