CRM Dashboards and Interactive reports without BI

Hello

we have no BW system, we only have custom reports and want to leverage the dashboard functionality we have IC service functionality.

My question is can I use Interactive reports for this ? is it even possible to use dashboards without any BW system.

I did look at couple of blogs but most of them I read need some kind of BI content

I have single client and dont have BW system, can I still set up Interactive reports ?

I created a RFC destination pointing to self, is this even a valid thing to do.

My BW person doesnt think we can do it this way.

Hi Asha,

To use Interactive Report, you don't need a BW system. And it is recommended to configure a separate BW client in your CRM system. And to answer your question, it is also supported to configure CRM and BW in the same client.

Yes you can use Interactive Report for this. To configure Interactive Report, you don't need a separate BI system. Instead, you need to configure 2 clients in your CRM system: one CRM client and one BW client. After the configuration, please run T-code

/CRMBW/CONFIG_WIZARD in your CRM client and make sure there is no error here. Please also refer to the documentation below:
