C4C Reporting Opportunities by Month (in context of created on-Date)

Hi all,
I am currently struggling with creating a report that shows opportunities in C4C Sales Cloud by month in context of the created on-Date. The default characteristics that can be used for this is "Month/Calendar year" and as key figure "number of opportunities" in the SAP default data source "Opportunity Header and Item". My problem is that the characteristic "Month/calendar year" is in context of the close date, so I see value in the future (see screenshot). I want to create a report that shows the no. of opportunities by month but in context of the created on-date (if its possible). If not then the start date.

How can I achieve this? I thought of creating a new key figure, but that does not help because I want to show number of opportunities. Another idea was to use the created on-date (or start date) as row in the report, but how do I get it grouped by month??

Any tips?

I solved it... You can group it by month/year if you add the created on-date in the web view of the report and fold it out. Then month, year etc. can be chosen.
