Accounting Indicator discounts not working with material group access sequence

Dear Service Experts,

By standard, the condition type DAI2 (Accounting Indicator %) has the pricing condition record access sequence at the material level. If you maintain 100% discount at the material level, then you apply the accounting indicator at the item level for the same material in the service order the maintained discounts are applied. This is typically used in a warranty cases, where the service is performed free of charge.

But If I add an additional access sequence using another material master attribute like (Material Group 3), then even though the right condition records are maintained the system does not apply the discounts at the service order item level when the accounting indicator is selected.

Does the accounting indicator discounts work only at the material level?? Can't we use other material master attributes as an access sequence.

Any insights or suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Siraj

Dear Service Experts,

We have figured it out, and I was too quick to post the question in the community. But it would definitely help others and doesn't have to go through the same trouble we went through.

It is possible to have other material master attributes as pricing condition record access sequence. The below configuration needs to be maintained, and the relevant Service field needs to be mapped to the Sales field. Please note bi-directional mappings need to be maintained for both Service --> SD and vice versa.

Service --> Basic Funcitons --> Pricing --> Display Supported Price-Relevant Fields (Standard Delivery)

The service field PRC_GROUP3 was mapped to the Sales field MVGR3. Similarly it is possible to use other material master attributes like Material Group 1, Material Group 2, Material Group 3 and also the Material Price Group. By standard these fields are not maintained in this mapping table, but once these mappings are maintained the condition records are taken into consideration.

Thanks,

Siraj

Hello Siraj

no idea!.

I'd check if the item has updated this field. It's saved in table CRMS4_SERV_I

PRC_GROUP3

Best regards

Hi Silvia,

I have found the solution for the issue. Also I am more enlightened now on how the service pricing can be customised and enhanced similar to that of SD pricing.

Thanks always for your quick response and support. What would this community do without your active participation, highly appreciated :).

Thanks,

Siraj
