Hi,

I am an Electrical Engineer, passed out in 2013. I would love to work on SAP, and make my career in it. I want to know what kind of different modules are available in SAP. Which one of it, can be most beneficial for me. How should i start, how long is the course duration, its fees, what kind of job profiles are there, how can i find a job in it.

Can anyone....anyone, please tell me from the basics, about making a career in SAP, it would be much helpful for me.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Suraj,

Seems like you asked all questions at a time. no problem.

As your EEE graduated then check about BO/BW/HANA. if your very good at coding wise then think to take up ABAP course.

First of all SAP have two categories of consultants.

1. Functional - to take this course , you need to core exp/basics. as i know its not suitable for you. because your from electrical Engg.

Modules - SD,MM,FI/CO,PM,QM...etc.

2. Technical - this is purely technical skills.

Modules - ABAP, UI,HANA and BW

for more modules you can get from google, http://www.erpgreat.com/

training period will depend on trainer.but to get the complete knowledge on module will take minimum 6months(its varies). need hard work and daily practice with different scenarios.

About job: as fresher's its very hard to get the job. but keep on trying,trying...

About module which suits - As for my knowledge BW is good option for you.

later you can try BO and HANA along with BW. those combinations have very good future.

Am also from same background(EEE) and now working as BW consultant.

Thanks
