Hi,
SAP software products architecture is more and more complex.
We have the traditional ABAP stack with all the new HTTP features and the JAVA stack.
In the good ol' days of R/3, there was often one single self sufficient system.
Nowadays, all SAP systems are interconnected in many ways.
So experienced and motivated SAP admins and architects will always been needed.
I would say that it is much more difficult to learn SAP basis then 10 years ago but that it is really worth it if you are motivated.
Don't be stopped at first with the SAP special way of doing or naming things, you will get used to it !
Regards,
Olivier
