What is the current status of Managed Extensibility? Is it still part of the SAP Roadmap or this has been dropped completely... and if dropped what is the alternative suggested ?

“Managed Extensibility” has been removed already in the previous (2016) version of the Extensibility White Paper . For partners, refer to the options in Chapter 4. Unfortunately, as stated in the document, a fixed road map for the feature mentioned therein is not yet available.
