Variants

Hello folks,

I have a report and I had created 2 variants for that. How to attach those variants to a transport?? Can someone help me with this.

In Se38 after entering the prog.name , in initial screen itself..select GOTO menu>variants>here give the variant name-->Then

Utilities>transport request>F8

You can use the program RSTRANSP for transporting report variants. Hope this helps.

Hi Naren,

To create transport:

1) Go to transaction SE38 and enter the program name.

2) Click the radio button next to the "Variants" subobject and click the "Change" button

3) On "ABAP: Variants" screen, select menu path "Utilities -> Transport request"

4) Enter the variant(s) you want to copy into the "Variant name" box.

5) Click the execute button and save the data to a new change request.

it takes u to the program rstransp.
