Unable to find the logic in the tcode DVMAN for Characteric number and its values

Hi Experts,

This is Regarding the Transaction DVMAN - Manual Derivation of Batch Data.

After executing this Transaction, after selecting Batch number under Material from left side, you will get a data in tabs

like Basic Data1, Basic data2, classification, material data, Changes.   

Issue: under Classification Tab, we have Characteristic number and Value columns. Now I need to find the logic related to these two columns in the DVMAN tcode.

I have debugged the entire transaction many times, but I did not get the logic for  Characteristic number and Value columns.

Please help me from where these values are coming....from Same DVMAN tcode or internally some other programs are also involving.
