Transport req. generation for standard text

Hi,

I have done changes in standard text in trans. SO10 and could anyone let me know like how to generate transport req. for these changes for moving the same to Quality as i didnt get any transport req. generaton while i was trying to save my changes.

Please advise.

Hi naga,

for so10 standard text .

it generates the Customize request instead of workbrnch request.

Give the standard text name and execute.

use: RSTXTRAN in the name of correction add the Task number rather than Tr request number and execute by providing the necessary input.

But what should i give in the column : ' Name of correction ' ?? as no req. no. is generated for my changes done.

plz explain me in detail.

HI,

Don't provide any value to this field 'Name of correction '

Name of correction  - blank
Text key - object    -  TEXT
Text key - name    - <Object  name created in SO10'
Text key - ID         - 'ST'
Text key - language - 'EN'

Press F8 now you can see the you Text Object

- select your text object and press enter.

- now you can see the button in application toolbar 'Trsfr text to corr' press this button

- you get the pop up window for the TR.

if you want to add the text to the Transport request which you already have then give the Task number in the Name of correction

if you donnot have a tr request to assign this text, just leave it blank and after hiting F8 and enters create a tr request number.
