Translation of SAP Script form to new language

I have got a requirement where I need to translate the Script form to a different language.

Whole text is translated except a standard symbol SGDH that has text "Dear Sir/ Madam".

I have tried to hard core the translated language in its place.

Still not working...

Please help !

Hi

I think the value of that standard symbol depends on logon language, so if u're using english it will always be "Dear Sir/ Madam".

So if you need to translate it you need to replace that variable with a fix text.

Hi,

For translation to other language you can use transaction SE63.

Translation -> Long Texts -> SAPScript -> Forms

You can translate all texts in that form to any language.

Still the problem persists.

Everything else except that text is coming in correct language.

Hi,

It could be possible that the same text is coming from some other window..check all your windows for this. Also check if the text u have writeen in the script has a parahraph format assigned to it and it is not commented.
