table maintainance generation!!

hi my doubt with table maintainance generator is...

i have a pse38 prog which is having a pkg and a function group ...

which contains it own objects ....

i need to include table maintainance in a different package which name is zxyzpq_cust_remittance

and function group zxyzpq_cust_remittance ....

here is the prob im facing

1. se11 utilities table maintanance generator

2. when is give this group name its taking onle til zxyzpq_cust_remi and not taking the full function group name...

can any one let me know ...

how should i include this in to my request and how should i generate this table maintainance generator with this function group and package...

You need a function group with a shorter name.

we can not give Function group name more than 16 char length in Table Maintainance Generator even the length of the data element is 26 char. Because, generally Table name will give as Function Group name in Table maintainance generator. we can give maximum 16 char for table name. So, SAP will not accept more than 16 char as Function group in Table maintainnace Generator.
