hi everybody..

can any one give one example progarm for table control in bdc..

Hai,

Table controls are used to Update multiple Item records for a Single record. Both in case of Pur order and Sales order we use the table controls.

For example one entry of EKKO table if there are 20 entries(items) in EKPO table then they have to be updated using the Table control.

This is example to upload the Bank details of the Vendor which has the TC.

syntax:

CONTROLS .

if you only want to determine the row of the table control. SY´-SUBRC allows you to check if the cursor is placed in a row of a table control.

u need to comment the performs of table control fields and write ur own perform statements. And u have to declare the table control fields as separate internal tables.

Hi Ashu,

=> There are some tricks which one can follow while recording grid like structures in SAP e.g. table control

1. Never scroll.

2. Try to use the buttons, icons for adding or deleting lines.

3. Possible use TAB key of keyboard if need to go from one field to other.

4. ALWAYS use the 'CURSOR' related ABAP syntax, which is recorded via SHDB transaction. Specially in case of selecting lines in ALV grid/Table Control, this will record the position & help in placing the cursor at runtime.

Solution: Use CALL TRANSACTION 'ME21N' OPTIONS FROM w_ctu_params.( type CTU_PARAMS)

This w_ctu_prams structure contains the following details -

DISMODE : Display mode (like the MODE addition)

UPDMODE: Update mode (like the UPDATE addition)

CATTMODE: CATT mode (controls a CATT)

CATT mode can have the following values:

' ' No CATT active

'N' CATT without single-screen control

'A' CATT with single-screen control

DEFSIZE : Use default window size (Here we are handling those transaction by giving default window size)

RACOMMIT: Do not end transaction at COMMIT WORK

NOBINPT : No batch input mode (that is, SY-BINPT = SPACE)

NOBIEND : No batch input mode after the end of BDC data.

The components DEFSIZE , RACOMMIT, NOBINPT, and NOBIEND always take the following values:

'X' Yes
