se16 searching for a wildcard

Hi,

I have a field in a table that is type numc. When i try and search in se16 for entries it doesnt allow me to use the normal *. Anyone got any ideas what i could use to do the wildcard search in se16?

Also, it may be possible for me to change the type of the field in this table as it is part of ongoing development. What would be the best type to use instead of NUMC in this case? Many thanks,

NUMC type doesn't accept any '*' ....

U can change the type to CHAR instead ...
