Save Document (DMS) on Application Server

Former Member

Hi,

how can I save a document (DMS) on the Application Server.

The BAPI BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTMODIFY stores a file only on the presentation server.

I would like to run a report periodically and make documents on the Application Server in a certain folder available.

Thanks for your response

Jochen

Hi,

I'm familiar with the Open dataset commands, but how do I get the document out of the DMS?

Thanks
