hi friends,

how can i know the abap differences between SAP version 3.4 and ECC 6.0 version.because we just got a upgrade project and i want to know what abap changes will be there and what they really do in the upgrade project.

would appreciate if u help in this regard.

Technical Name: SAP_BC_DWB_ABAPDEVELOPER

Tasks:

The ABAP Developer is responsible for implementing new applications and for extending, enhancing, and modifying standard applications using the tools and utilities of the ABAP Workbench.

The tasks of ABAP Developers include:

Creating and changing ABAP programs and screen elements

Creating and changing global classes

Creating and activating ABAP Dictionary objects

Implementing new BAPIs and changing released ones

Creating and changing Web development objects (such as Internet services and MiniApps)

Creating change requests; creating and releasing change tasks

Implementing enhancements and modifying the standard system

Testing the quality and performance of their own developments

Starting queries using the information system

Hi,

Generally these are the changes which I have noticed:

1.ISU-RETAIL module has been included to the existing SD/MM/FI/CO

2.The ABAP Debugger is also new but you can revert back to the old one.

3.Some ABAP statements(e.g. occurs,header line) are obselete in ECC 6.0.

Other than these there are not many changes.
