SAP Custom Screens for Module Pool Program

Hi All,

I am new to Module Pool programming.

After so much web search I found as below..

I didn't understand from above info..

1. Can't I create Screen number from 01 to 1000.?

2. Is there any restriction, that I have to create only after 9500 series.?

3. who are these SAP Partners means & who are these SAP Customers?

4. I am working for Product based company who bought SAP From SAP LABS. That Means I must use screens only greater than 9500 series.

I am confused.

Please suggest.

If you are working on your own programs, then you can use any screen number you like.

If you use SAP to run your business, you are a SAP customer. If you are a SAP customer and you want to add a screen to SAP supplied programs, you must use 9501-9999 as your screen number.

If you work with SAP on an official basis, to provide tools for SAP customers, then you are a SAP partner. Then you may use screens 9000-9500 if you are enhancing SAP supplied programs.

For reference on object namespace/number range, read Note 16466 - Customer name range for SAP objects.
