R3trans finished (0012) error while executing R3trans -d

Hi,

I am getting the following message while executing R3trans -d

This is R3trans version 6.13 (release 640 - )

2EETW169 no connect possible "DBMS = ORACLE --- ORACLE_SID = '<SID>"

Retrans finished (0012)

Please tell me, if any one have idea to trouble shoot this issue. I could not able to start SAP system because of this issue.

Thanks Uwe, I got the following information in trans.log

Based on this I went to

.dbenv_<host>.csh

and dbs_ora_tnsname environment variable is not set. I modified that now. But still getting same error. Any other steps I have to perform?????
