Query in Creating Sales order.

I want to create a sales order.

But the Material's that i give should be of particular material division and material Group and offcourse in the given sales organisation.

Can somebody please tell how to create that particular sales order?

Hi,

Check for the material that belongs to the sales org you are looking for from table MVKE(By passing VKORG as sales org and VTWEG as distribution channel ), and create the sales order with this material,

Can u be more specific. I want to check the material group and Material division also?

Hi,

For which material you want to create the sales order, first you can go to MVKE and get the material number for the sales order, and pass the material number to MARA-MATNR and check MARA-MATKL field, this will give the material group,

There is no field called material division,

I got it. In the VA01 i have checked for the series with which the material number starts for that material divison and sorted it out. Thanks a lot.
