problem in job scheduling

The program is supposed to take a file from a specified directory, do the processing and send the data processed to another directory

but nothing is happening

when i go to SM37, the log displays the task has been succesfully executed

am i missing something?

Plz provide the program's name or parts of your source for us to examine.

the problem is that when im running the program in debug mode or manually, the files are transferred succesfully but when i define it in SM36, nothing happens

Where is ur file. Is it on the presentation/Application.

Paste ur code inorder one to assist.

Hi Anjali,

If file is on the presntation server, then ur FM like GUI_UPLOAD/UPLOAD wont work in the back ground.

Only if the file is on application server then u can schedule ur program in the back ground( by using open data, Read data set..)
