Populating IDOC sub segments

Hi,

I have the following requirement to create an outbound idoc from SAP. The new idoc will be a child of an SAP idoc except for a few segments. I need to add a segment say E1TEXT1 always before another segment E1EDKP to the child idoc. I have the idoc data in an internal table. So do I find the index of the table and push in the other segment values?

And if E1TEXT1 has a subsegment E1TEXT2, how should I populate that? I may or may not have other E1TEXT1 segments preceding E1EDKP. Any sample code highly appreciated. Thanks!!
