Hi,

Inbound parameters are for IDOCs that are coming in to SAP..

Outbound parameters are for IDOCs that are going out of SAP..

Thanks,

The message type will be linked with IDOC type in Outbound parameters and Msgtype will be linked with Inbound function module with process code in Inbound prameters

Hi Charles,

Outbound and inbound parameters (partner profiles) are used to maintain the partners with whom you communicate via IDocs in the partner profiles: choose the message to be sent to the partner and define the path to be used, as well as how inbound messages are processed.
