Not able to create new CDS View with Eclipse Photon

Dear Experts,

I am currently testing "SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1610 FPS01" trial version on Google Cloud Platform and trying to create CDS View with Eclipse Photon.

I have successfully created ABAP project with Eclipse, but not able to go forward creating CDS Views due to the following error:

I have updated many times ABAP Development Tools for SAP HANA (also with the newest Eclipse version) but so far do not have any success.

Any idea to fix this problem?

Hi Khoren,

I had a similar error message recently when talking to an 750 kernel, it looks like the message is missleading, in my case the support package level on the server side was not on the greates level. This fixed the problem for me.

I dont know about your specific configuration, but maybe its a worth a try to check the server.
