Hello,

i've a editbale alv grid.

Is it possible to set a field/colum as mandatory field?

Hi Thomas ,

Are you refering to the Mandatory field in the selection screen ?

If so yes you can.

Hi,

no not on the selection-screen.

In the Alv-List i've editable fields.

This fields should be mandatory.

Hi,

Have a look at the report BCALV_EDIT_03.

In this report the program logic is such that if the user enters an incorrect value an error is displayed.

Instead you can check if the field of your ALV filelds are null and validate them accordingly.
