LSMW not recording "Characteristic Value" for QS21

Hello All:

I'm trying to record a field called "Characteristic Value" under the "Classification" tab for transaction SQ21, but the change is not reflected.

Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

Any idea or suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Don't try to do recording for classification values. Use object '0130', subobject '0002' or '0001' and program 'RCCLBI03'.

I have an input file(Text tab-delimited) that contains other relevant fields associated with transaction SQ21 to be uploaded into SAP as well. Would this method still work for the other fields or would I have to load classification data separately?

I have no knowledge of this transaction but, yes you will have to do them seperately. Remember, classification is a cross-application and hence can be and should be maintained seperately, similar to texts.
