Is system 3.1 that slow?

hi folks,

Is old SAP versions, especially 3.1, really slow in churning out reports with hundred thousands of data?

oh god... i am in dilemma trying to improve speed of an old report runs in SAP version 3.1..

any advice?

Hi,

You have to check whether the report's DATABASE Fetch time is higher or Application is taking more time. You can check this using ST03N transaction.
