Hi All,

I can able to create the material using RMDATIND in LSMW, but NOT ABLE to extend the material for the given plant.

Is it possible to create the material for the given plant using RMDATIND in LSMW? If possible, what are the mandatory fields to populate?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Prasanth

Hi Prasanth

You can surely go on and create materials using RMDATIND (Direct Input Method). As far as the mandatory fields are concerned, it depends on the Views that you are selecting. To get an idea about the mandatory fields, goto MM01 transaction, select the views you wish for and then enter the values for the various fields. It will not allow you to save the info unless all the required fields of the selected views are populated. Else you may go to your MM Consultant with the views and he'll help you with the required fields.

If you just wish to extend an existing material, i would advise you to go ahead with the same using the Batch Input Recording Method. Once you start recording, you'll get the MM01 screen where you may enter the reference material and plant/storage location (depending on the selected views). No need to know the mandatory fields here.

Hope this helps.
