We are planning to use inbound IDoc HRMD_A07 for master data update. We have only few infotypes to be updated. We are using file to Idoc scenario. These are delta changes, so when there is only change in 0006, we need to update only 0006 infotype. The incoming file ( source) would have empty fields for all the other infotypes and only data for Infotype 0006 would be populated and sent.
Problem is if the other segments are blank, say, 0002 or 0009 segment is blank it updates blank records. If it is a case of just a single field we can use /. but we do not want the whole of other infotypes not to be updated. We want only the changed infotype to be updated.
Should the E1PITYP segment of a particular infotype should be blank. Please advise.
