If there are two TRs for a report one after the other, do we need to transport both?

Dear Gurus,

There were changes in a particular report. Let me explain, For example Mr.A has done some chnages in a ZFI_XXXX report in Developement server, created the TR1 and released the TR1. But the TR1 is not moved to Quality. Meanwhile another change was required so Mr.B has done the changes with TR2 and released it. Is it required to transport TR1 and then TR2 or Only transport TR2 is enough. Its urgent so please let me know as soon as possible.

Hi,

Only the latest TR needs to be transported.

The report will have the code of the TR which is transported last and yes it will have the changes of the previous TR unless that part has been changed in this version again.

Hi Jacob,

It is better to transport both TR numbers in a sequence . (First Mr. A and then Mr.B).

because Ex : If Mr. A has created a some new objects (ex :Ztable ) or any other object in that TR related to that report and that will not be moved to QA if you only  move Mr. B 's TR.

as long as the latest transport contains all the objects , transporting the TR2 is enough.

Hi,

Yes you can release both the TR. No issues in that.

1st TR as Demo and 2nd as practice. Its better to send the newly created TR as it is having all the data and objects!.
