hi,

A Message type represents the application message being

exchanged between SAP systems or between SAP and non-SAP

system. A message type characterizes the data being sent

across systems, and relates to the structure of the data,

an IDOC type.

IDOCs contain administrative information for technical processing, as well as the actual application data, which is stored in segments.

Regards,

Sailaja.

Check in transaction WE02 for the particular IDOC and you would be able to check the other information related to IDOC...please note that in the above transaction it would ask you about the date when the particular idoc was generated..you would need the particular date.

Go to we60 transaction for Documentation of the segments in the idoc type.

Go to we30 for names of segments and the fields inside.

Hi Ramu,

Check out the area menu WEDI.

It has all the transactions related to IIDOCS.

You can check the idoc type/Message type relation in WE82

Check the IDOC types and segments in WE30 WE31
