How to Create A search Help

1. TCODE MM03, For Material hit F4.

There are many tabs defined in that search help.I need to add one more tab to the same.

Any Idea how to do this. Any documentations.

Please help.

u need to use search-help exit in this scenario...................if u want to give u r own tab to already existing search help ....u need to use search-help exit.

Hi Kapil,

The collective search help used in MM03 is MAT1.

Go to SE11 and give MAT1 and display and then go to included search help tab.

here you will have all search helps shown when you do F4 in MM03.

Now you need to create your "elementary search help" and add that search help here.

To create elementary search help, Create a databse view first with field you wanted then go and create search with that database view.

You can refer help.sap.com for detailed procedure on how to create databaseview and searchhelp.

choose search help radio button

press create

choose which of search help either

elemenatry

collective

give fields assisn primary key....
