How to change job recipient

Hi All,

One query, how to change job recipient permanently. Permanently means here, Through SM36 we can change for a scheduled job. But once this job will get finished and the same job will schedule for next cycle the old recipient is coming again. I have to change the recipient name again and again. Please help.

Hi,

You should use SM37 to find your job and change the released one to have your changes reflected on all future jobs.

do you mean you need the future jobs to go to a new recipient OR each time the job runs you need to send to a different recipient?

There are two ways of doing it:

1) Change the recipient Details of Job that is released, Any changes done at Released status will ensure the changes are applied to the future Jobs as well. --> Most Preferred.

2) You Can delete the Job along with all its future schedule as well and then start scheduling a new Job in the same cycle. Now ensure you input the necessary recipient details.

Yes Colleen, I want the future jobs to go to a new recipient and we should not change recipient manually through SM36 all time in new schedule job.
