How to add subtype to the standard Infotype2002.

dear all,

I have a requirement that i need to add a subtype to the existing standard Infotype 2002. I would like to add the subtype as 4000 for Health Checkup. Please help me in doing this functionality.

New Subtypes can be added via SM30 by maintaining V_T591A for 2002.

Here you select New entries and give the subtype and Name.In your case

enter subtype as 4000 and Name as Health Checkup.

Infotype can be enhanced using TCode PM01.

thank you for the response.

But the problem is not yet solved. when i check the technical attributes of the infotype 2002 i found that the subtype table defined in it is T554S and the subtype field as AWART. Now let me know how to proceed further.

Subtype Creation :

Transaction PM01

Goto Subtype Characteristics. Click on Append and then subtype. Enter the name and description of subtype on screen.

Then goto technical Characteristics and maintain the details of subtype there. I.e name of subtype i.e. component name defined in PSnnnn. Subtype table is T591A.

Subty.text tab is T591S and time const tab is T591A.
